Hubert Hornbuckle

Mr. Hubert Ethridge Hornbuckle, 85, of Rydal passed away Friday, November 28, 2008 at the Cartersville Medical Center. Born February 17, 1923 in Cartersville, he was the son of the late Walter William Hornbuckle and the late Eva Mae Carnes. He was also preceded in death by his wife of 63 years, Helen. A veteran of the United States Army serving during World War II, Mr. Hornbuckle was a cattle farmer.
Survivors include his children, Dale Hornbuckle of Cartersville, Gary Hornbuckle of Cartersville, Randy Hornbuckle of Cedartown, Myra Hornbuckle of Woodstock, Johnny Hornbuckle of Cartersville, and Jason Hornbuckle of Rydal.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Monday, December 1, 2008 in the chapel of Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services. Burial will follow in the White Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6 - 9 p.m. Sunday at Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 430 Cassville Rd., Cartersville, GA 30120.
