Mrs. Ida Delilah Ball, age 55, of 131 Dodd Blvd, Rome, GA, died Sunday, October 28, 2007.

Mrs. Ball was born in Grafton, WV on January 2, 1952, the daughter of the late Warren Calbin Morey and Christine Louise Smith Morey. She loved working crossword puzzles, cross stitching, and her cats. In addition to her parents Mrs. Ball is preceded in death by her twin sister, Lila Gay Morey.

Mrs. Ball is survived by her husband, Stephen Ball to whom she was married on May 2000; a son, Dennis Arnold of Charlotte, NC; a daughter, Barbara Allison Smith of Grafton, WV; three grandchildren, Anthony Arnold, Savannah Arnold, and Trevor Arnold all of Charlotte, NC; and two brothers and sisters-in-law, Bill and Beverly Morey of Waxhaw, NC; and Henry and Linda Morey of Charlotte, NC. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be Thursday, November 1, 2007, at 1:00 P.M. in the Heritage Chapel of the Jennings Funeral Home with Rev. Ken Oates officiating. Interment will follow in Oakland Cemetery.

Mrs. Ball will remain in the Heritage Chapel of the Jennings Funeral Home where the family will receive friends Thursday from noon until the funeral hour.

The following gentlemen have been asked to serve as pallbearers and are requested to meet in the Heritage Chapel of the Jennings Funeral Home by 12:30 P.M. on Thursday: Harold Buffington, William Martin, Lester Frisk, Bill Lowery, and Mike Ball.
