Irene Myrick

Francis Irene Myrick, 86, of Cartersville passed away Friday, November 4, 2011 at her residence. Born April 4, 1925 she was the daughter of the late Ossie Sloan Knox and the late Goldie Jane Hardin Knox. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Matthew G. Myrick; her son, Jerry James Moore; her brothers, Frank Knox, and Joe Knox; and her sisters, Josie Knox, and Hazel Chastain. Irene was a homemaker. She was a member of East Rome Baptist Church and also attended Miller�s Chapel in White.



Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Johnnie Weaver (Edwin); her son and daughters-in-law, Robert Devan Moore (Karen), and Billie Sue Moore; her stepchildren, Wayne Myrick, Bobby Myrick, and Billy Myrick; her brother, Zachery Knox; her sister, Betty Cothran; her special caregiver, Emily Myrick; eight grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, and one great great-grandchild.



Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, November 6, 2011 in the chapel of Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services with the Reverend Darrell Tidwell officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memory Gardens.



The family received friends from 6 � 9 p.m. Saturday at Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 430 Cassville Rd., Cartersville, GA 30120.
