Jackie Waits

Mr. Jackie Homer Waits, Sr. 73, of Euharlee, passed away Sunday, August 2, 2015 at his home. A native of Bartow County, Born May 12, 1942, he was the son of the late Homer Waits and Charlcie Ingram Waits.
Jackie was self-employed as a plumber before retirement. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mrs. Betty Jo Meeks Waits; his brothers, E. M. Waits, John (Shaver) Willie Waits, James Waits, Wiley Frank Waits and Benny Ray Waits; and sisters, Annie Lou Cook and Ruby Mae Hufstetler.
He is survived by his children, Betty Sue Waits Tanner and husband, Kenny, Jackie Homer Waits, Jr., Ronnie Anthony Waits and wife, Jennifer, Tabitha Nicole Waits and Ray Waits; seventeen grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Mrs. John (Shaver) Willie (Bonnie) Waits and Mrs. Wiley Frank (Shirley) Waits; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., on Wednesday, August 5, 2015 in the chapel of Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services with The Reverend Danny Waits officiating. Interment will follow in Floyd Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 5 – 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Serving as pallbearers will be Chandler Wheeler, Zachery Waits, Dustin Waits, Ronnie Wayne Waits, Austin Free and Dillard Cook. Johnathan Owens, Chris Mercer, Tony Nyguen and Levi Stewart will serve as honorary pallbearers.
