Jacquelyn Guyton

Mrs. Jacquelyn Elizabeth "Jackie" Guyton, 87, of Cartersville, widow of the late Hubert L. Guyton, Sr., died Tuesday June 4, 2019 at her residence surrounded by her loving family.

Born March 25, 1932 in Cartersville, she was a daughter of the late Jack Jenkins and Mary Layton Jenkins. Jackie was of the Baptist Faith and was a hard worker. She loved to spend time with her family, loved to cook, especially Sunday, and she loved to shop. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Margaret Williams.

Survivors include her daughters, Cheryl Wright and the late Danny Wright and Brenda Vaughan and the late Terry Vaughan, both of Cartersville; sons, Lee Guyton and the late Ann Guyton of Cartersville, and Joel Guyton and his wife Cheryl, also of Cartersville; brothers, Claude Jenkins of Dallas, Eugene Jenkins of Cartersville, and Layton Jenkins of Cartersville; grandchildren, Jody Cagle, Joseph Young, Tawanna Simons, Kelly Young, Rachel Guyton, Justin Guyton, Whitney Flores, and Katie Guyton; 15 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild, and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, June 7, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Parnick Jennings Funeral Home with The Reverend Jody Cagle and The Reverend Doug Simons officiating. Entombment will follow in Sunset Memory Garden Mausoleum. The family will receive friends on Thursday, June 6, 2019 from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Serving as Pallbearers will be Justin Guyton, Timothy Simons, Hayden Cagle, Jovanni Flores, Juan Coronado, and Kenny Jacobs.

The family suggests that those who wish, may make donations to the Alzheimer's Association, 41 Perimeter Center E #550, Atlanta, GA 30346 in memory of Jackie.
