Jacquelyn "Jackie" Hilley

Mrs. Jackie Hilley, 84, of Cartersville, died Sunday, July 6, 2014 at her residence.
Born September 13, 1929 in Hartwell, Georgia, she was the daughter of the late Fred Ayers and the late Maymer Robertson Ayers. She worked many years at Belk and retired from Revco. She was a member of Oakland Heights Baptist Church. She was the sweetest woman her kids ever knew. All her grandchildren called her "Neen" or "Noodle". She always thought of others more than herself and everyone that met her loved her. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.
Survivors include her husband, Ralph Hilley of Cartersville; sons David Hilley and his wife Beverly of North Carolina, Larry Hilley and his wife Belinda of Joshua, Texas, Paul Hilley and his wife Pam of Adairsville, Don Hilley and his wife Vickie of Cartersville; brother, Rollin Ayers and his wife MaryAlice of Snellville, Georgia; sisters, Peggy Smith of Edgefield, South Carolina, Betty Seamore and her husband Leonard of Hartwell, Georgia; nine grandchildren; twenty-three great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, July 8, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Parnick Jennings Funeral Home with Reverend Sammy Burgess, Reverend Mike Morris and Reverend Joe Nix officiating. Interment will follow in Providence Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Monday, July 7, 2014 from 6 until 8:00 p.m.
Serving as pallbearers will be Robby Hudson, Craig Hilley, Matt Hilley, Brent Hilley, Andrew Chapman and Gavin Chapman.
Flowers will be accepted, or those who choose can make a donation in memory of Mrs. Hilley to the American Cancer Society P.O. Box 22718, Oklahoma City, OK 73123-1718 or donate.cancer.org.
