James Eugene Blasengame, 68, of Cartersville, Georgia, passed away on Thursday, July 17, 2025. He was born on January 1, 1957, in Rome, Georgia, to the late Franklin Blasengame and the late Jacqueline Blasengame. James is also preceded in death by his brother, Eddie Blasengame; and sister, Rosa May Floyd.
James loved helping people. On his free time, he would go fishing and collect antiques. James also enjoyed spending his time playing pool with his best friend, Todd.
Survivors include his loving wife, Tammy Blasengame; daughter, Jacqueline Hoyle; stepson, Walter Mulligan III; stepson, Owen Mulligan; brother, Johnny Blasengame; and sister, Mary Floyd.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Legion.
