James Cadle

July 24, 1930 — May 15, 2009

Mr. James William Cadle age 78, of Lakeland Dr Coosa Community Rome, GA, died Friday, May 15, 2009, at a local hospital.



Mr. Cadle was born in Floyd County, GA. on July 24, 1930, the son of the late Walter Ray and Elsie Ramsey Cadle. He served in the United States Army during the Koran Conflict Mr. Cadle lived 10 years in the Cedartown GA. and 20 years in Juliet Georgia and the rest of his life in Rome GA. He was retried form Georgia Power Company after 42 years of service. He attended the Rolling Hills Baptist Church in Cedartown Georgia. Mr. Cadle was a Worshipful Master of the Masonic Lodge and He was also a Shiner in Forthsyth County GA. He was preceded in death by is beloved wife Mrs. Betty Jo Cadle on November 08, 2005 and his brother Sonny Cadle.



Survivors include one son; Norman Pace of Coosa; one daughter Sandra Pace of Coosa.; one brother and sister-in-law Paul and Brenda Cadle of Rome, ;two sisters and brother-in-laws Charette and John Britt and Betty and William Wiggly all of Rome ; Four grandchildren Rodney Patrick Cadle, Laura Jan Pace Brownlow and her husband Jaymie, Danny William Cadle and B.J. Pace all of Rome,; eight great- grandchildren also survive.



Funeral services will be held Monday, May 18, 2009, at 2:00 P.M. in the Oaknoll chapel of the McGuire Jennings and Miller funeral home with the Rev. Dale Byars officiating. Entombment will follow in the Oaknoll Memorial Garden Saint John�s Mausoleum with the Shanklin-Attaway Post #5 of the American Legion Honor Guard conducting military graveside rites.



The family will receive friends Sunday May 17, 2009 from 7:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. in the Oaknoll chapel of the McGuire Jennings and Miller funeral home.



The following gentlemen have been asked to serve as active pallbearer d are requested to meet in the Oaknoll Chapel on Monday by 1:30 P.M. Gary Pace, Norman Pace, Damon Cadle B.J. Pace and Jaymie Brownlow
