James Chumley, Sr.

Mr. James Ralph Chumley, Sr., 77, of Cartersville died Wednesday, September 21, 2011 at his residence. He was born in Marietta, June 1, 1934, and was the son of the late Toy Lee Chumley and the late Bertha Scoggins Chumley. His is preceded in death by his parents and his wife Rebecca DeHaven Chumley.
He is survived by his children, James Chumley, Jr., Belinda Cosby, Cheryl Gallegos, Sheila Pilcher, Janice Edwards, Debbie Thompson, Alan Chumley and Shiann Johnson; his brothers, Doug and George Chumley; his sisters, Anne Hern, Ruby Weatherford and Vickie Townsend (Brad); eighteen grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be conducted at 12 Noon, Saturday, in the Oak Hill Cemetery in Cartersville.
Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 430 Cassville Road, Cartersville is in charge of the arrangements.
