Mr. James Olin (JIMMY) Culberson, Jr. age 40 of Shannon, Georgia died Thursday July 10, 2008 from injuries sustained in an automobile He was born March 5, 1968 in Floyd County, Georgia to Janice May Jaquith Culberson, and the late James Olin Culberson, Sr.
He graduated in 1986 from the Oak Grove High School in Hattiesburg, MS. In 1988 he graduated from the Pearl River Junior College with a degree in electricity. In 1996 he graduated from Coosa Valley Technical Institute with a degree in computers. Jimmy worked in several areas of the electronic field. He was an avid animal lover with several beloved dogs including Dixie, Chi Chi, Snickers, and Bandette.
He was preceded in death by his father James Olin Culberson, Sr.
Surviving are his mother Janice M. Culberson of Hattiesburg, MS, Brother and sister-in-law; John and Gwin Culberson of Cartersville, GA, sisters and brother-in-law; Pam and Paul Crane of Pineville, LA, and Sarah and Paul Williams of Petal, MS, niece and nephews; Sarah �Nattie� Williams and Jason William both of Petal, MS, and Steven L. Ferrell of Pineville, LA
Funeral services will be conducted Monday July 14, 2008 at 11:30 a.m. from the Heritage Chapel of the Jennings funeral home with The Reverend William Roberts officiating. Interment will follow in the East View Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Monday from 8:30 a.m. until the hour of the service at the funeral home.
