James Eaves

Mr. James Robert Eaves age 67 of Rome, GA died Friday, October 30, 2009, at his residence.



Mr. Eaves was born in Centre,Alabama on August 6, 1942 the son of the late William Thomas Eaves and Bessie Walker Phillips Eaves. He retired from Mount Vernon Mills and served in the United States Navy. Mr. Eaves enjoyed western and science fiction books and loved NASCAR.



Survivors include six sons, Jimmy Eaves, Charlie Caron, Rocky Caron, Jason Eaves, William Ratliff, Bobby Ratliff; two daughters, Guylaine Charette and Paula Williams; thirteen grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; two brothers, John Eaves and Paul Eaves; and three sisters, Bessie L. Stover, Willie Faye Rhinehart, and Jodie Reyner.



A Celebration of Life will be held Wednesday, November 4, 2009, at 2:00 P.M. in the Heritage Chapel of the McGuire, Jennings, & Miller Funeral Home with Pastor Paul Eaves officiating.



The family will receive friends Wednesday from 1:00 P.M. until the funeral hour in the Heritage Chapel of the McGuire, Jennings, & Miller Funeral Home.
