Mr. James Dale Flynn, age 44, of 113 Jim Lee Drive, Rome, GA, died Saturday, June 17, 2006, from injuries sustained in an accident.Mr. Flynn was born in Ashville, NC, on September 21, 1961, the son of Roma Biggs Flynn and the late James Weldon Flynn. He had been a resident of Rome and Floyd County since 2001, moving here from Acworth, GA. At the time of his death, Mr. Flynn was associated with Ryder Truck Lines for a number of years. He loved riding his Harley motorcycle and was a member of the Cyclepaths. Mr. Flynn always enjoyed helping others, was always laughing and had a keen sense of humor. He enjoyed working with computers, camping and loved to make kids happy. He especially would make sure that his children always had a special Christmas. Mr. Flynn is survived by his wife, Gloria Flynn, to whom he was married on September 22, 2004, sons, Jason Flynn, Wesley Flynn and Michael Flynn, step-children, Monique Christopher, Johnny Montoya, Anthony Montoya and Adrian Montoya; grandson, Isaiah Christopher; mother and step-father, Roma and Albert Bertram; sisters, Dianne Hamrick, Deborah Demers, Donna Ruth Stoudt and Delores Russo. Several nieces and nephews also survive.Funeral services for Mr. Flynn will be held on Thursday morning at 11 a.m. in the Heritage Chapel of the Jennings Funeral Home with rev. Mike Davenport officiating. Interment will follow in the East View Cemetery.The family will receive friends this (Wednesday) evening from 6 until 8 p.m. in the Heritage Chapel of the Jennings Funeral Home.Pallbearers are asked to meet at the funeral home on Thursday morning by 10:30 a.m. and include Jay Stoudt, Anthony Seabaugh, Terry Ledford, Tanner Peacher, Shayne Peacher and Josh Christopher.
