James Frost, Sr.

Mr. James Russell Frost, Sr. age 73, of Rome, GA, died Tuesday, October 6, 2009 in a local hospital.
Mr. Frost was born in Dozier, AL, on March 29, 1936, the son of the late Russell Frost and Mittie Mae Petty Frost. He retired from S.I. Storey Lumber Company and was of the Baptist faith. In addition to his parents Mr. Frost was preceded in death by his wife, Della Virginia Frost.
Survivors include two sons, James Russell Frost, Jr. and Carey Lee Frost both of Rome; two daughters, Penny Frost and Candy Mendoza both of Rome; ten grandchildren; a great-grandchild; and two sisters, Bealuh Grissett of Dozier, AL and Peggy Turner of Gantt, AL. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Graveside and interment services will be held Monday, October 12, 2009, at 3:30 P.M. in the Oaknoll Memorial Gardens with Pastor Terry Turner officiating.
