James Harvey

Mr. James W. Harvey, 77, of Cartersville, died Sunday, March 31, 2013 at Cartersville Medical Center. Born in Buford, Georgia on February 18, 1936, he was the son of the late Robert Cleo Harvey and the late Gertrude Bagwell Harvey.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Linda Hunnicutt Harvey; his brother, R. C. Harvey, Jr. and his sister, Pauline Morris. He was of the Baptist faith, was a member of the American Legion and served in the National Guards.
Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law, Richard W. and Suzanne Harvey of Jacksonville, Florida; his daughter, Carol Y. Harvey of Anniston, Alabama; and three grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, April 5, 2013 in the chapel of Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services with Reverend Joe Nix officiating. Interment will follow at 1:00 p.m., Friday in the Forest Hills Cemetery in Forest Park, Georgia. The family will receive friends from 6 – 8 p.m., Thursday at the funeral home.
