James Makuh, 81, of 6162 Emerald Springs Way, Acworth, Georgia died Thursday, August 23, 2007 at the Heartland Hospice House in Cartersville. Born in Cleveland, Ohio on April 19, 1926, he was the son of the late George and Mary Buggi Makuh; and was the husband of the late Kathryn Waters Makuh. He was also preceded in death by his brothers and sisters.
James was a veteran of the United States Army serving during the end of World War II. He had retired from General Motors where he worked as a professional photographer for many of GM's public relations projects. James was also of the Catholic faith.
Graveside funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, August 27, 2007 at Sunset Memory Gardens with Father Daniel Stack officiating.
Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 430 Cassville Rd., Cartersville is in charge of the funeral arrangements.
