James "Ej" Morris, Jr.

James "EJ" Edwin Morris, Jr., 29, of Rydal, Georgia, passed away on Thursday, July 18, 2024.

He was born on March 14, 1995, in Cartersville, Georgia, to Terri Holand. EJ is preceded in death by his grandmother, Linda Maton; grandfather, Butch Morris; and uncle, Jay Morris.

Survivors include his mother and stepfather, Terri and Dennis Holland; sisters, Kayla Morris and Kiana Morris; stepsisters, Payton Holland, Shyanna Holland, and Bryanna Griffin; brother, Dillan Morris; stepbrother, Brandon Holland; grandparents, Robert and Linda Maton; grandparents, Patricia and Daniel Jordan; and step grandmother, Debbie Baker.

EJ enjoyed playing video games and going on walks. He loved going drilling with his stepdad and going fishing.

A memorial gathering will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 17, 2024, at Dellinger Park. The address is 100 Pine Grove Rd. Cartersville, GA 30120.
