James Perry

Mr. James Patrick Perry, 67, of Cartersville, died Sunday, June 8, 2014 at Cartersville Medical Center.

Born February 17, 1947 in Geneva, Ohio, he was a son of the late Robert Perry and the late Betty Jane Patrick Greene. Mr. Perry was of the Catholic Faith, and enjoyed watching sports and spending time with his family.

Survivors include his wife, Geraldine Perry; sons, Pete Miller and his wife Carrie of Dallas, Patrick Miller and his wife Lisa, Paul Miller and his wife Cassie, and James Patrick Perry, II, all of Cartersville; brothers, Paul Perry of Cartersville, Peter Perry of Arizona, and Richard Perry and his wife Valarie of Alabama; mother-in-law, Sarah Jo Cox; brothers-in-law, Willie Cox, and Dennis Cox and his wife Debbie; sister-in-law, Jacqueline Cox; and several grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, June 12, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Parnick Jennings Funeral Home with The Reverend Patrick Miller officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home, one hour prior to the service.

Serving as Pallbearers will be Peter Perry, Paul Perry, Richard Perry, Dennis Cox, Leo Perez, and Chris Cox.

The family suggests that those who wish may make donations to the American Cancer Society, 250 Williams Street NW, Atlanta, GA 30303 in memory of Mr. Perry.
