Mr. James Wallace Thacker, 90, of Cartersville passed away on Tuesday, September 24, 2019 at his residence. He was born on October 22, 1928 in Rome, Georgia.
A graveside funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, October 1, 2019 at Georgia National Cemetery with Reverend Charles Moore officiating.
The family has requested no flowers but those desiring are asked to make memorial contributions in Mr. Thacker's honor to the Wounded Warrior Project at www.woundedwarriorproject.org.
