James Truelock

James Quinton Truelock, age 76, of Cartersville, passed away on Wednesday, August 16, 2017 at his residence. He was born in Muleshoe, Texas on February 24, 1941 and was the son of the late Roy Truelock and Joe Lee Goss Truelock.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Ellen Green Truelock; a son, Tommy Truelock; a sister, Loretta Gregory; and a brother, Leonard Truelock.

Survivors include his children, step-children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren; his sisters, Savannah McCamish and Marie Drennan.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 19, 2017 in the chapel of Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services with The Reverend
Rodney Kennedy officiating. Interment will follow in Raccoon Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12 Noon -1:30 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home prior to the service.

Serving as pallbearers will be Joshua Martin, Lonny Martin, Tommy Martin, Justin Hazlewood, Jordan Hazlewood and Steve Mathis.
