Mr. James Morgan Whitener, 59, of Kingston, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 15, 2012 at Cartersville Medical Center. Born in Bartow County March 7, 1953, he was the son of the late Hubert James Whitener and the late Mary Pauline Robertson. Along with his parents he is preceded by his brothers, Larry, Mark and Tony Whitener.
Survivors include his sister, Laura Sanford of Cartersville; his daughters, Tracy Chitwood, Stephanie Hovers of Atlanta and Savannah Lawson of Dallas; one brother, Kenneth Whitener of Cartersville; five grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
