Jane was active in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and served in the Primary and Relief Society. She will forever be known to the choir from her home ward as "Brother Jane" because of her beautiful contralto voice that earned her a seat with the tenors! She received a Master's Degree in Education at the University of Georgia and taught at Montrose Elementary in Laurens County, Charlton County High School in Folkston, Cass I, Cass Middle and White Elementary in Bartow County. Jane will be remembered for her quick wit, her incredible singing voice, her creativity and to many of her students as a favorite teacher.
