Jane Yother, 79, of Cartersville passed away on Thursday, September 12, 2024 at Cedar Valley Nursing & Rehab in Cedartown.
Born on January 7, 1945 in Cartersville; she was the daughter of the late Rufus Eaves and the late Leola Brown Eaves. She was also preceded in death by her first husband, Lamar Dupree; her second husband, Alfred Yother; her sister, Helen Williamson; and her brother, J.R. Eaves.
Jane was an extremely generous person; she would give anyone anything they ever asked for. She was high spirited and outgoing and will be missed by those who knew and loved her.
Survivors include her children, Donna McDowell, Iris Maeger (Anthony), Jeff Dupree (Lynne), and Stephanie Yother; 14 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild; and her sisters, Marie Yother (Larry), and Joann Tidwell (Don).
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 18, 2024 in the chapel of Jennings Funeral Home with Pastor Keith Milner officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 17, 2024 at the funeral home.
Serving as pallbearers will be Justin Dupree, Jeff Dupree, Christopher Jordan, Kaz Maeger, Austin Maeger, Gage Estes, and Dawson Silvers.
