Mrs. Janice Lee Turner, 65, of White, entered the Lord's presence on Thursday, December 31, 2015 at Emory University Hospital.
Born September 13, 1950 in Fort Valley, GA, she was a daughter of the late John Wilson Bryant, and the late Minnie Lee Bartlett Bryant.. She was a great cook and was full of Love, Joy, and loud laughter. She always put others first and had a servant's heart. She was the best wife, mother, and nana in the world! She loved the Lord and was ever thankful for His constant care and constant love. Mrs. Turner was a member of Woffords Crossroads Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband of 39 years, William F. Turner; daughter, Jennifer Shuler and her husband Timmy of White; son, Daniel Turner and his wife Tina of Cartersville; grandchildren, Ashley Olivia Turner of Cartersville, Chloe LeeAnne Shuler of White, Kinzie Claire Turner of Cartersville, Tyler Andrew Turner of Cartersville, Matthew Mark Shuler of White, Prestin Luke Shuler of White, and Callen Cooper Turner of Cartersville; sisters, Carol Ann Bryant of Fort Valley, and Kathy Bryant Atkinson of Birmingham; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held on Sunday, January 3, 2016 at 3:00 p.m. at Woffords Crossroads Baptist Church with The Reverend Keith Dempsey officiating. Interment will follow in the Church Cemetery. Mrs. Turner will lie in state at the Church, one hour prior to the service. The family will receive friends on Saturday, January 2, 2016 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Parnick Jennings Funeral Home.
