Janie Floyd Dekin, 49, of White, died Monday, July 1, 2013 at her residence.
Born August 5, 1963 in Atlanta, she was a daughter of Jack Claude Floyd and Betty Jane Jenkins. Janie was of the Baptist faith and was a loving mother, sister, and daughter, who will be greatly missed. She was preceded in death by a brother, Hank Claude Floyd.
In addition to her mother and father, survivors include her sons, Rudy K. Richards, II, and Trea Kenneth Richards, both of Indiana; sisters, Tammy Floyd Stansell of Riverdale and Connie Floyd of Cartersville; brother, Jackie Floyd of Cartersville.
The family will hold a memorial service at a later date.
