Mrs. Janis Bell Tow, 73, of Cartersville, passed away, Tuesday, July 14, 2015 at Cartersville Medical Center. Born in Lithonia, Georgia on September 27, 1941, she was the daughter of the late Newton Bell and Maggie Napier Bell.
Before retirement, Mrs. Tow was employed by Roswell Infinity as a tag and title clerk. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, William Russell Tow; a daughter, Cynthia Lynn Wingo; and a son, Timothy Wingo.
Survivors include her children, George Marshall Wingo, John Gregory Wingo and Kimberly Rae Clements (Lance); her grandchildren, Timothy Destin Wingo, Katelyn Leisa Wingo, Jordan Hailey Clements, Nathaniel Luke Clements, and Wylie Lynn Clements; her great-grandchild, Victoria Christine Lee; and sisters, Pat Ingram and Frances Haye.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, July 19, 2015 in the chapel of Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services with The Reverend Willie Coombs and Scott Foster officiating.
