Mr. Jason Wayne Nichols, 43, of Cartersville, died Wednesday, July 31, 2013 at his residence.
Born July 20, 1970 in Rome, Georgia, he was a son of the late David Charles Nichols and the late Dorene Guyton Patterson. Jason was a member of Creekside Fellowship Church. He loved fishing on the creek bank and racing his Camaros. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Victor Don Nichols, and a brother-in-law, Keith Massey.
Survivors include his wife, Vickie Hartness; step-daughter, Josslyn Hunter of Cartersville; sister, Tina Massey of Kingston; brother, Kenneth Patterson of Adairsville; maternal grandmother, Bernice Guyton of Kingston; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held on Monday, August 5, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Parnick Jennings Funeral Home with The Reverend Michael Abernathy officiating. Interment will be private. The family will receive friends at the funeral home, one hour prior to the service.
