Jason Self

Jason Self, 43, of Cartersville died on Saturday, November 24, 2018. Born on May 26, 1975 he was the son of Floyd Self and Catherine Wilbanks Self.

Jason was an electrician who would sacrifice himself to give to others. He was known to give anything to anybody especially his family. He was a quiet and content man as long as his children were happy.

Survivors include his mother and father; his son, Preston Self; his daughter, Kassidy Self; his brother and sister-in-law, Chris and Karen Self; his sisters and brothers-in-law, Sherry and Greg Lee, Laura and Tim Ingram, and Angie and John Weeks; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 29, 2018 in the chapel of Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services. Interment will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00-7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 28, 2018.

Serving as pallbearers will be Jonah Ingram, Avery Johns, Jordan Smith, John Rodgers, Scott Johnson, and John Weeks.
