Jean Moore

Jean W. Moore, 71, of 51 Moore Rd. SW, Kingston, passed away Saturday, March 15, 2008 at her residence. Born September 30, 1936 in Smyrna, she was the daughter of the late Leroy Waid and the late Lillian Lorraine Cawthon Waid. Mrs. Moore was a homemaker and a member of Macedonia Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Ben Moore; and her brothers, Roy Waid, James Waid, Jack Waid, and Marvin Waid.

Survivors include her daughter, Ruthann Rogers of Kingston; and her sisters, Evelyn Waid of Kingston, Ethel Bates of Muscadine, Alabama, and Evalie McGuire of Adairsville.

Funeral services will be conducted at 4:00 p.m. Monday, March 17, 2008 at Macedonia Baptist Church with Rev. Charles Moore and Rev. Greg Patterson officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 1 – 3:30 p.m. Monday at Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 430 Cassville Rd., Cartersville, GA 30120.
