Jeanette Hayes

Jeanette Hayes, 69, of Cartersville, Ga passed away on Tuesday, April 9, 2024. She was born in Duluth, Ga on January 28th, 1955 to the late Claude and Lila Overby. She is proceeded in death by her identical twin sister, Jenell Hackett, older sister Geraldine Hammonds, older brother Colquit Overby, daughter Niki Hayes, and great- grand daughter Allison Williamson .

Jeanette was a loving mama, grandma (nana), and great grandma. She loved lottery game and spending time with and supporting her kids and grandkids. Her grandkids and great grandkids were her pride and joy.

Survivors include her children, David Williamson and Tracie Ledbetter, eight grandkids, nine great grand children, older brother Roy Overby and Frank Overby, older sister Christine Ogles.

Service and Visitation will be held at New Beginning Baptist Church located at 205 Colonel Way White, GA 30184. Visitation for family will be Tuesday, April 16th, from 10:00 am-11:00 am and friends from 11:00-12:30. Service will be at 1:00 pm. Pastor Michael Matthews will be the program officiant.

Serving as Pall bearers are as follows- James Hackett, Jimmy Hackett, Chris Lee, Ralph Cox Jr., Bobby Cox, and Lane Rix.
