Jeanette Womack

Mrs. Jeanette Lindsey Womack age 84, of Gardens Lakes, died Tuesday October 28, 2008, at a local hospital following a short illness.



Mrs. Womack was born June 30, 1924, in Centre, Alabama to the late John Lindsey and Lela Martin Lindsey. She resided in Rome for 25 years, and moved to Miami, Fl, for 40 years, then moved back to Rome 10 years ago with her husband after his retirement. Mrs. Womack was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She was also an avid gardener, and puzzler.



Mrs. Womack is survived by her husband of 67 years Paul Womack, Sr. Children; Paul and Nelda Womack, Jr., of Charlotte, NC, Victor and Patti Womack of Miami, FL, Bobby and Penny Womack of Hollywood, FL, Carol Henegar of Rome,GA, and John D. Womack of Ft. Pierce, FL. Brothers; W. A. Lindsey of Rome, GA, Hobson Lindsey of Centre, Al, and Earl Lindsey of Shannon, GA. Sisters; Ruth Reddish of Rome, GAKatherine Butler of Calhoun, GA, and Virginia Ann Wheeler of Centre, AL. 12 Grandchildren, 14 Great grandchildren. Several nieces and nephews also survive.



Funeral services will be conducted Friday October 31, at one o�clock in the afternoon at the Oaknoll Chapel of the McGuire Jennings and Miller Funeral Home with the Reverend Bob Skelton and Lance Womack officiating. Interment will follow in the Oaknoll Memorial Gardens with the grandsons serving as pallbearers.



The family will receive friends Thursday from 7 until 9 o�clock in the evening at the Oaknoll Chapel of McGuire Jennings and Miller Funeral Homes.
