Ms. Jeanine Holcomb Spicer, age 75, of Cartersville, GA, died Monday, April 6, 2009 at Cartersville Medical Center.
Ms. Spicer was born on August 24, 1933 in Rome, GA, the daughter of the late Thomas H. Holcomb and Louise Phillips Holcomb. Ms. Spicer resided most of her life in Rome and Lindale, GA. She was a member of Cartersville Heights Congregational Church in Cartersville, GA. Ms. Spicer retired from Lindale Manufacturing in Lindale, GA. In addition to her parents, Ms. Spicer was preceded in death by her sister, Faye Holcomb Prewett.
Survivors include a son, Gregory T. Spicer of Clarkston, GA; two daughters and sons-in-law, Susan and William G. Bevis III of Kingston, GA and Lesa and David Thibodeaux of Mt. Holly, NJ; and six grandchildren, Savannah Ruth and Grant Bevis of Rome, GA, Megan Urschel of Fort Wayne, Indiana, Conan Spicer of Atlanta, GA, and Nicholas and Noah Thibodeaux of Mt. Holly, NJ.
Graveside and interment services will be held Wednesday, April 8, 2009, at 3:00 P.M. in the East View Cemetery with Rev. Mike Freeman officiating.
