Jerry Hyde

August 6, 1942 — March 1, 2012

Mr. Jerry Louis Hyde, 69, of White, went home to be with the Lord, Wednesday, March 1, 2012, surrounded by his family, at Kindred Hospital in Rome. Born August 6, 1942, in Kingston, he was the son of the late John D. Hyde and the late Pauline West Hyde . Preceding him in death are his parents; his brother, John Henry Hyde; and his brother-in-law, Billy J. Evans.

He was a member of Glade Baptist Church. Mr. Hyde enjoyed hunting, gardening, and working on cars. Above all Mr. Hyde loved his family.



Survivors include his wife of thirty six years, Glenda Hyde; his son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Alicia Hyde; his granddaughters, Caydi and Cayla Hyde; his sisters and brother-in-law, Mildred Evans, and Lillian and Melvin Kilgore; his brother and sister-in-law, Randall and Cathy Hyde; a special sister-in-law, Brenda Franklin; and several nieces and nephews.



The family will receive friends from 5 � 9 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.



Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, March 4, 2012 in the chapel of Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services, with Rev. C.E. Wilkey, Rev. Allen Melton and Jason Parker. Interment will follow in the Kingston Cemetery.



Serving as pallbearers will be Stewart Taylor, Ryan Amos, Roy Overby, Daryl Bowman, J.R. Hardin, Stephen Johnson, Blake Johnson and Nick Clark. Honorary pallbearers will be Melvin Kilgore, Ricky Johnson, Junior Johnson, Todd Turner, Alex Wright, Lance Johnson,Josh Franklin and Gary Turner.



Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 430 Cassville Road, Cartersville, is in charge of the arrangements for Mr. Jerry Louis Hyde.
