Jerry Greene, Jr.

Mr. Jerry Kenneth (Ken) Greene, Jr., 49, of Rydal, died Tuesday at Cartersville Medical Center. Born in Floyd County on September 28, 1962, he was the son of Jerry K. Greene, Sr. ad Mary Evelyn Lowry Greene. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Dr. Harold Lowry, Sr., Evelyn Lowry and Sybil Greene; his wife, Julie Edward Greene; and a sister, Debbie Greene.

Jerry was a graduate of Cass High School with the class of 1980 and later served his country in the U.S. Navy.

He is survived by his parents; his fiancee�, Patricia Grizzle; his children, Kenna Greene, Debbie Greene, Ian Greene, Kendyll Greene, Ethan Greene, Emily Greene and Eli Greene; his step-daughter, Gabrielle Bogdan; his grandchildren, Celeste Greene and Ezra Parker; his sisters, Evelyn Greene and Angela Maybern; his grandfather, Fred K. Greene; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Friday, November 11, 2011 in the chapel of Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services with Reverend Wayne Richmond and Reverend Max Maybern officiating. Burial will follow in Pleasant Valley Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6 � 9 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home.
