Jerry Ray

Jerry Ray, 74, of Cartersville Georgia, passed away on December 2, 2021 at Cartersville Medical Center.

Born on May 30, 1947, he is the son of the late Harley Ray and the late Agnes Ray. He is also preceded in death by his wife, Beverly Ann Ray; son, Jerry "Andy" Andrew Ray; daughter, Teresa Gale Brubacher; and brother, James Ray.

Survivors include his daughter, Tammy (Jason) Gravley; grandchildren, Victoria Hale, Jerry (Christy) Gravley, and Trenton (Cheyenne) Ray; and great-grandchildren Damian Hale and Talan Hale.

Jerry liked fishing and working on his truck. He collected Hot Wheels and loved to travel and visit casinos.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, December 8, 2021 in the chapel of Parnick Jennings Funeral Home with Reverend Keith Willard officiating. Interment will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:00 pm to 1:30 pm at the funeral home prior to the service.

Serving as pallbearers will be Trenton Ray, Damian Hale, Jason Gravley, Allen Massey, Jerry Gravley, and Virgil Wages.
