Jerry K. Watson of White, Georgia passed away on Monday, November 18, 2024.

One of fifteen children; he was born on January 6, 1934 in Indianapolis, Indiana. Jerry served his country in the United States Marine Corp from 1953 to 1956 and later was in the excavating business for over fifty years. He was a lifelong member of the American Legion and he former chaplain of Legion Post 50 in Berea, Kentucky. He was a member of Wofford's Crossroads Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Edith; his son, Jerry K. Watson II (Jeanie); his daughter, Mettie Burns (Sam); his stepson, Ronnie C. Reynolds, Jr. (Darra); his stepdaughter, Paula Mallory (Terry); and numerous grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

A visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. on Monday, November 25, 2024 at Parnick Jennings Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Reverend Keith Dempsey officiating. Interment will follow in Georgia National Cemetery at 2:30 p.m.
