Jerry Williams

Jerry Allen Williams, 86, of Cartersville Georgia, passed away on Sunday, September 17, 2023. He was born on July 11, 1937, in Sedan Kansas to the late Walter E. Williams II and the late Melba J. Williams. In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by his loving wife, Amanda J. Williams.

Survivors include his children, Flora J. Williams-Hubbs, Jerry A. Williams Jr., Kevin D. Williams, and Larry G. Williams; stepchildren, Patrick J. McKenna, Michel McKenna, and Camila McKenna-Galloway; brother, Walter E. Williams III; sister, Jane Williams; grandchildren, Rebbeca J. Padfield, Rachel Hubbs, Russell Hubbs, Tanner D. Williams, and Tiffany G. Ellis; and five great grandchildren.

Jerry served in the Navy for 21 years and was a retired Chief Petty Officer. He was an avid reader and photographer. He had a passion for building and flying R/C Aircraft, shooting, and gunsmithing. Jerry also enjoyed working in electronics repair and auto repair. He was a devout member of the Catholic church, the Bartow County Model Aviation (BCMA), VFW, and Fleet Reserve Association.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, October 11, 2023, in the chapel of Parnick Jennings Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held at Georgia National Cemetery immediately following the Memorial Service on Wednesday, October 11, 2023.
