Jessica (Judy) Ann Hilton, of Rome, GA, died October 10, 2010 at the age of 46.
Judy was born in Rochester, New York on October 21, 1963. She studied social work at the Rochester Institute of Technology earning her Bachelor of Social Work and the University of Northern Alabama earning her Masters in Counseling. Judy worked tirelessly to help others in a variety of counseling positions in Alabama and Georgia, most recently as a geriatric counselor at Floyd Medical Center in Rome.
She is survived by her father and step-mother, Ronald and Sharon Hilton of Rochester, New York; her step�father, Robert Gibson; sisters, Wendy, Jennifer, and Karen; and brothers Eric, Paul, and Roger. She will be greatly missed by her by aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, her two cats, Sasha and Sheba, and close friends and coworkers. She joins her dearly loved mother, Norma who departed in 2002.
A Celebration of Life will be held Friday, October 15th, 2010, at 7:30 P.M. in the Oaknoll Chapel of the McGuire, Jennings, & Miller Funeral Home, 2542 Shorter Avenue, Rome, GA 30165.
The family will receive friends Friday from 6:00 P.M. until 7:30 P.M. in the Oaknoll Chapel.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in remembrance of Judy to the Humane Society, 3 Central Plaza, PMB 193, Rome, GA 30161-3233 or The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society Donor Services, P.O. Box 4072, Pittsfield, MA 01202.
