Jessie Miller

Mr. Jessie Dean Miller, 74, of Kingston, died Wednesday, March 6, 2013 at his residence. A native of Bartow County, born November 15, 1938, he was the son of the late Arlie Buck Miller and the late Lizzie Jacobs Miller. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his son, David Allen Miller; his brothers, Frank and Billy Miller; and his sister, Betty Miller.
Mr. Miller was self-employed as a tree cutter for over 40 years.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years, JoAnn Miller of Kingston; his sons, Jessie Don Miller of Cartersville and Ricky Marvin Miller of Kingston; thirteen grandchildren; twenty six great-grandchildren; his brother, Robert Miller of Kingston; and his sisters, Grace Burch of Tyrone and Mary Alice Gentry of White.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Monday, March 11, 2013 in the chapel of Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services with Pastor Mike Abernathy officiating. Interment will follow in the Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. –2:00 p.m. on Monday at the funeral home.
