Jewell Millsap

Jewell Millsapp, 59, of Cartersville passed away on Sunday, January 2, 2011. Born in Cartersville on September 13, 1951 she was the daughter of the late Walter Ledford and the late Frances Clark Ledford. She was also preceded in death by her son, Joshua Millsapp.



Jewell was a very giving person and was known for having a great sense of humor and being a very strong woman. She was a member of the Latter Day Saints. Jewell was employed for years in the medical records department of Cartersville Medical Center and was most recently employed in the customer service department of Shaw Industries.



Survivors include her daughters, Jennifer Wiley, and Ashley Millsapp; her grandchildren, Andrew Wiley, and Caleb Wiley; her step-mother, Justine Ledford; her best friend, Nancy Cox; and several cousins, aunts, and uncles.



Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 5, 2011 in the chapel of Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services with the Rev. Fred King officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery.



Serving as pallbearers will be Jason Pearson, Dewayne Fuqua, Brian Gilmore, Gene Wood, Kielan Gilmore, and Danny Black. These gentlemen are asked to be at the funeral home at 12:15 p.m. on Wednesday.



The family will receive friends from 5 � 9 p.m. on Tuesday at Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 430 Cassville Rd., Cartersville, GA 30120.
