Jim Sipple

Mr. Jim Sipple, 82, of Taylorsville, passed away Monday, October 3, 2011 at Floyd Medical Center. He was born in West Virginia, June 28, 1929 and was the son of the late James Thomas Sipple, Sr. and the late Fern Sipple McCoy. He is preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Julia Hill Sipple; and his brothers, Bill and Ronald Sipple.

Mr. Sipple was owner/operator of Sipple�s Grocery before retirement.

Survivors include his daughters and sons-in-law, Yvonne and Billy Duke of Jacksonville, Florida and Faye Smith of Rome; his sons and daughters-in-law, Mike and Kim Sipple of Taylorsville, Joe and Theresa Sipple; his siblings, Beulah Holley of Indiana, Eulah Schaffer of Florida, Martha Burke of Florida, John Sipple of North Carolina; seven grandchildren and several great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m., Saturday, October 8, 2011 in the chapel of Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services with Pastor Mike Abernathy officiating. Entombment will follow in Sunset Memory Gardens.

The family will receive friends from 6 -8 p.m., Friday at the funeral home.
