Jimmy is survived by his eight children: Sandra Lynn Ryan, Hope Michelle Beck, Christina Perreria Laning (John), Daniel Lee Beck, Tommy Ernest Beck (Penny), Ricky Dewayne Beck (Jodie), James Grant (Selena), and Charles Grant. His legacy continues through his 25 grandchildren and cherished great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

A dedicated and hardworking individual, Jimmy retired from the City of Cartersville after over 25 years of loyal service as a sanitation worker. He also enjoyed his time working at Walmart for nearly a decade, where his kind-hearted nature and jovial spirit shone brightly. Known for bringing joy to little ones, he often donned the red suit and white beard as Santa Claus at Walmart during the holiday season.

Jimmy had a passion for collecting, particularly Pokémon cards and knives, and he took great pleasure in playing Bingo. His love for classic TV shows like *Gunsmoke* and *In the Heat of the Night* provided him with much joy and comfort.

He was a devoted member of the Path of Christ Church, where he found solace and strength under the guidance of Pastor Johnny Atkins.
