Jing Yang

Mr. Jing Peng Yang, 78, of Cartersville, died Monday, January 6, 2014 at his residence.
Born March 23, 1935 in Guangdong, China, he was the son of the late Mr. Yang and the late Yulian Li. Mr. Yang immigrated to the Unites States in 1989 and was a professor of chemistry at Emory University, retiring in 1992. After his retirement from Emory, he was employed with the Sta-Put Company in Cartersville.
Survivors include his wife, Rui-Ling Cai; children, Wen Jian Yang and her husband Jian Zhong Jiang of China, Wen Li Yang and her husband Jun Wu of Atlanta, and Tracy Bowden and her husband Jason of Roswell; grandchildren, Wen Xi Jiang, Jiaxuan Wu, Kaitlyn Bowden, and Dylan Bowden; and 2 sisters.
The family will hold a private memorial service.
