JL Crocker, 84, of Cartersville passed away on Friday, April 17, 2020 at Cartersville Medical Center.

Born on December 18, 1935 in Cartersville, he was the son of the late Earl B. Crocker and the late Julia Hammonds Crocker. He was also preceded in death by his brothers, Clyde Crocker and Linder Crocker.

JL enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was outgoing and never met a stranger. He would do anything for anybody. He loved his family and everyone loved him especially children.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Ann Townsley Crocker; his son and daughter-in-law, Joey and Amanda Crocker; his grandson, Daniel Crocker; his brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Jane Crocker; his sister-in-law, Joyce Crocker; and several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 21, 2020 at Sunset Memory Gardens with Reverend Steve Lyle officiating. Friends and family are encouraged to attend but observe social distancing.

Serving as pallbearers will be Dewitt Crocker, Matt Crocker, Adam Shields, Adam Wilson, Brad Nally, and Trey Wilkins. Honorary pallbearers will be Harry Cornwell, James Miller, Jack House, Zack Knox, and Dewayne Wheatherford.

A memorial service will be announced at a later time.
