Jo Baker

Jo Baker, age 75, of Cartersville died Friday, Mach 14, 2014 at Cartersville Medical Center. Ms. Baker was born September 28, 1938 in Centre, Alabama. and was the daughter of the late Grady Monroe Webb, Sr. and the late Viola Haney Waddell. Jo retired from Mowhawk Industries and was of the Assembly of God faith. She was a home body and was a hard worker. She was preceded in death also by her grandson; Josh Moore, sister; Martha Grier and brother; Grady Monroe Webb, Jr.

Survivors include her son; Teddy Baker and his girlfriend Lynn Wilson, of Cartersville; her grandson; Wayne Baker, of Cartersville; her sisters, Ruby Jean Patterson of Chatsworth, and OtchieLee Nicholson of Cartersville, and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, March 16, 2014 at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of Parnick Jennings Funeral Home with The Reverend Charles Moore and the Reverend John Massingale officiating. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery, Cartersville. The family will receive friends from 2:00 -3:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Serving as pallbearers will be, Jerry Floyd, David Nicholson, Ricky Nicholson, Mike Bridges, Anthony Massingale and Doug Hale.
