Jocelyn Teresa Vittorio, a beloved resident of White, GA, passed away peacefully on Friday, February 6, 2026, at the age of 74. Born on Saturday, October 6, 1951, Jocelyn lived a life full of love, laughter, and cherished memories.
Jocelyn was a joyful presence in the lives of all who knew her. Known to many simply as "Granny," she had an unparalleled knack for bringing joy to every gathering. With an infectious smile and a warm heart, she was undeniably the life of the party. Her spirited personality left a lasting impact on everyone, and she will be fondly remembered for her love of scary movies, leisurely afternoons spent on her front porch, and her admiration of Elvis Presley. Jocelyn also loved spending time with her feline companion Fluffy aka Turbo,
Together with her devoted husband, Ted Vittorio, she had a central role in raising their grandchildren, forging bonds that will endure for generations to come. Jocelyn is survived by her loving husband Ted; her cherished daughter Shannon Costlow; son-in-law Chris Christopher; adored granddaughters Alexis Jackson, Hayley Costlow, Avarie Christopher, Jessi Bradley, and Suzy Arnett; treasured grandsons Thomas Costlow Jr., Adam Arnett, Asa Holbert, and Jake Jackson; and dear great-granddaughters Myleigh Coughman, Harper Bradley, Adley Arnett, Ava Arnett, and Maylee Jackson; as well as great-grandsons Thomas Costlow, Benton Woodall, Brodey Woodall, Jase Jackson, and Collin Hendrix. She is also survived by her brothers Greg Hester and Johnny Hester, and her sisters Donna Moore and Patricia Palis.
Jocelyn was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Betty Hester and Matthew Elwine, as well as her daughter Angela Holbert, and son-in-law Thomas Costlow Sr.
Friends and family are invited to celebrate Jocelyn's life which will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 12, 2026, at Parnick Jennings Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 12:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. prior to the Celebration of Life.
Arrangements are entrusted to Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
Jocelyn’s memory will forever live on in the hearts of her family and friends and in the many lives she touched with her kindness and warmth. As we say goodbye, we remember her with love and gratitude for the joy she brought into our lives.
