Joe "Jd" Bennett

Mr. Joe Daniel "JD" Bennett, 58 of Canton died Sunday June 7, 2014 at Northside Hospital Cherokee.
Born May 25, 1956 in Cartersville he was a son of the late Clarence Bennett and the late Lula Bell Hufstetler Bennett. He was preceded in death also by his son Clayton Daniel Bennett; and two sisters, Shirley James and Carolyn Goss.

"JD" was a very generous man who loved his family, loved model cars, and model planes.

Survivors include four sisters, Sue Bell Wood (Allen) of Cartersville, Catheryn Bennett Martin of Cartersville, Josephine Hensley (Jesse)of Cartersville, Joyce Dunagan (Michael) of Canton ; and a dearly loved brother Michael Bennett of Cartersville; several nieces; and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday June 11, 2014 at 3:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Parnick Jennings Funeral Home with the Reverend Josh James officiating. Interment will be in the Zion Hill Baptist Church Cemetery.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 10, 2014 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral Home.
