John "J.C." Atchley 87, of White, passed away Saturday May 1, 2021 at Cartersville Medical Center.
Born September 22, 1933 in Pickens County he was a son of the late Clarence E. Atchley and the late Bonnie Lee Holmes Atchley. He was also preceded in death by his first wife, Hazel Jump Atchley, a son, Michael Atchley and his grandson, Matthew Stanfield.
J.C. loved to garden in his younger years and retired from Shaw Industries after 30 years of service.
Survivors include his wife of 27 years, Jackie Brooks Atchley; his children Shelia Guyton, Shirley Westley, Sandra Stanfield, and Dennis Atchley; his stepchildren Wayne Hunter, Annelle Gainor, Charlie Hunter, Cindy Greenway and Vicky Hunter; four grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and his brother, Donald Atchley.
No services will be held at this time.
