John Grogan

John R. Grogan, 53, of White died Sunday, December 13, 2009 in Silver Creek. Born November 15, 1956 in Cartersville, he was the son of Irene Whitener Grogan and the late Sam Grogan. He was also preceded in death by his grandmother, Rosalee Grogan; and his sister, Margaret Thurman.



Survivors include his mother, Irene Whitener Grogan; sister and brother-in-law, Sandra and Rick Garvin of Cassville; his brothers and sister-in-law, Billy Joe Grogan of White and Waymon and Gwen Owens Grogan of Cartersville; many nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles; his brother-in-law, Mike Thurman; and special friends, Sarah Smith and Lamar and LeFrench Dean of Rome.



Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday in the chapel of Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services with the Rev. Steve Morrow officiating. Burial will follow in Cassville Cemetery.



The family will receive friends from 5 � 9 p.m. Tuesday at Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 430 Cassville Rd., Cartersville, GA 30120.
