John Mcclearn

John Henry McClearn, 51, of Cartersville soared to new heights Friday, May 8, 2009. Born in Bremerton, Washington on July 28, 1957, John grew up in Virginia Beach, Virginia. John retired from the United States Navy after twenty years active duty service and was employed at Gardener Metal Systems.



He is survived by his much loved wife of twenty-five years, Catherine McClearn of Cartersville; his parents, Donald and Evelyn McClearn of Virginia Beach; and his extended family in Washington state.



A gathering of friends and family to celebrate John's life will be held from 6 - 7 p.m. Tuesday, May 12, 2009 at Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services. In lieu of flowers the family requests contributions to Catherine McClearn.
