John Snow

June 4, 1934 — August 4, 2010

Mr. John Snow, 76, of Cartersville, died Wednesday, August 04, 2010 at Chulio Hills Health & Rehab in Rome. Born in Murray, Kentucky, June 4, 1934, he was the son of the late Cecil Snow and the late Ruby Marie Holsapple Snow. Mr. Snow was a member of Friendship Baptist Church. During his career as a truck driver Mr. Snow was employed by American Freight. He is preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Judith Ann Gossar.



Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law, Danny and Tammy Snow; his daughters and sons-in-law, Sharon and Derrick Bryson, Ramona and Bryan Hood and Alicia and Justin Flemons; his step-son, Jeff Bennett; his grandchildren, Kala and Luke Snow, Brandon and Matthew Bryson, Haley and Bradley Hood and Ava and Ryder Flemons; his brother and sister-in-law, Charles and Fleda Snow; his sister, Patricia Bennett; his special sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Leona and Raymond Halstead; and his special cousin, Ronnie Davis.



Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, August 7, 2010 in the chapel of Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services with Dr. Joe E. Edwards officiating. Burial with full military honors provided by American Legion Carl Boyd Post #42 will follow in Providence Cemetery.





Serving as pallbearers will be Derrick Bryson, Brandon Bryson, Matthew Bryson, Bryan Hood, Bradley Hood, Luke Snow and Justin Flemons. These gentlemen are asked to meet at 10:15 a.m. at Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services.



The family will receive friends from 5 � 9 p.m., Friday at the funeral home.
